Abongile Magadla, 29, also known by his stage name (Abo De Voice), is preparing to release a much-anticipated single called Inkoduso in the coming weeks.

The Amapiano artist, originally from Zastron, is now pursuing his music career in Pretoria.

He completed his education in Zastron and relocated to Pretoria in 2019, seeking better opportunities.

His love for music started in high school, where he sang Gwijo songs, and he became serious about it in 2020 after joining a team under C8W in Pretoria.

His debut project, “Izondibona,” was recorded in 2021.

Since then, he has participated in music camps, worked as a vocal coach, and collaborated with well-known artists.

His recent projects include “Nomalanga” and “SABELA.”

The forthcoming project, “Inkoduso,” features collaborations with Nwabisa Magadla, Nvrth, NtokanjeBeatz, Azraq, and Mr Me, showcasing growth and spiritual enlightenment.

Magadla stresses that music is his calling, providing healing and purpose.

He advises young artists to utilise available resources, build connections, and remain patient, regardless of their circumstances.

His long-term ambition is to support young talent in Zastron by creating opportunities and workshops.

Magadla urges South African youth to overcome challenges such as crime and unemployment, highlighting that their circumstances do not define them.

He advocates for choosing purpose over pressure and building a legacy for future generations.
