Premier MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae has made an impassioned plea to the public to assist the police with information in finding Onkarabetse Leeuw of Glen.
The 5-year-old went missing on 8 November 2025, exactly four days after his cousin Katleho Joy Leeuw was laid to rest.
Katleho too had been missing for days before her body was discovered by a passerby on 25 October 2025.
Her uncle has been arrested and charged with murder.
Onkarabetse was last seen leaving his home on Saturday, 8 November 2025, at approximately 16:00 to fetch his cap from a friend.
Police have not been able to find the boy to date, and the family is understandably becoming restless with every passing day.
Onkarabetse is light in complexion and was last seen wearing a grey and black t-shirt with long sleeves, yellow short pants, and white sneakers.
Premier MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae has called on the public to provide the police with any information that may assist in leading to the safe return of the little boy to his family.
She further said she could not fathom the mental strain that the family must be going through, only days after laying Katleho to rest.
Anyone with information that could help in finding Onkarabetse is requested to contact Captain Jeremiah Motaung at 071 682 5093.
Alternatively, the information can be submitted on the MySAPS App or by calling the SAPS Crime Stop number 08600 10111.
